hmm..no...only way I know to find this out is at the computer that holds the IP address...there you check if it is running an active DHCP client. But as for doing it remotely...no, I don't believe I've ever heard of anything that can check that for you...I will however ask my networking teacher (he who knows all) otmorrow and find out if he knows anything. |

just ping it constantly - if it doesn't go offline within a month, you can assume it to be static ;-) |
