Just thought I'd throw this one up for comments...
http://www.financialcomponents.se/
Notes:
This is the result of 16 hours of work.
All content (or the lack of) is provided from the client as "for now".
Goal: replace a "powerpoint save as html" site...

The logo is reused, I had not time in the budget to redo it.

One thing:

in Firefox, the menu displays differently - the items do not stretch width to the 145px that you specify - they just fit the text.

I just feel "blah" when I see the design. I can't read the comments so I can't actually say anything about that.

The site needs some contrast. And could benifit from a photograph or two. Right now it is just not inviting.

I bet most of your work was spent cleaning up the terrible code, which it looks like you did a good job of. The bullets are broken under firefox which is something you should look into. You might need to impliment the tantek hack. I am not sure, it didn't look at the CSS.

Well I know about the firefox issues,
but frankly, they gave me 2 days to do it in, no pics and no budget for pics,
plus their clients are banks with policy standard IE installations.

So, they got what they paid for and they are happy...
My guess is that they will come back now that they can keep it updated quickly and easily.
I've got other things going with them so it's an easy step for them to keep this growing.

Any tips on what's wrong with the menu boxes in firefox?
Thanx for the comments & I'll take a look at the tantek hack to see if it helps.
