I remember him fasting for 'forty days and forty nights' when the devil was trying to tempt him (Matthew, 4,1, King James Bible), but not before the crucification, which happend around passover (during which ,according to wikipedia only some foods are not eaten). Anyhow, no time to dig further rigth now, and alas I'm not as familiar with the scripture as I'd like to be (especially not with the King James Bible, since the Luther Bible is way more common here in Germany (as is the catholic 'unity translation') so long, ->Tyberius Prime Loading...
