Whoops? Then I should get documented because it is an approach that now works on Op7+ (and 6 too I think), IE4+ and recent mozilla builds. Konquerors and other Safaris should like it too. So I.. rhmmm... use it. I'd be willing to bet the w3c is attached to enhancing navigation, not replacing it, and things about innerhtml html not being indexable by search engines, and other questionable crap which I do not believe in. Let's not be extremists: the end user experience depends on the user agent(s), so I do design for user agents. innerHTML works for most of them, I just don't use it to completely replace navigation, instead for rather short inserts as the layers in the poi/ini jspong match.
