While thinking thinking thinking about the current 20 line javascript competition I recalled a site I gained some insight and ideas from a few years ago. So I went to look-see (and recalled that of all the cool sites I've visited recently, none have linked here) for inspiriation.

http://www.htmlguru.com/

Now I remember the site, the original site (currently available but updated). It held some smart little pointers, ideas on design, some small examples of code but not much else.

As far as an awesome looking site to marvel at and be in envy of, this is the place. But if you want some great little effective scripts with some wow factor try google.

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

The DHTML_Guru website is quite famous. Technically speaking it's interresting, but the visuals and graphic designs of Jeff Rouyer have never been my cup of tea too.

Looks way too overdone to me. I'm all for fancy Javascript, but only when it's applied to something that's not supposed to be practical. Less is more when it comes to website design.
