What is it that you guys indulge in? What is it that you spend way too much time or money on that brings you gratification? |

TP, Godiva not Starbucks. I'm addicted to their chocolate. I'm constantly swinging by and picking up a lb of truffles or chocolate covered strawberries, etc. |

Books I suppose - I'll probably die before getting around to reading all the books I currently have but I still nose around second hand bookshops and library sales and don't even get me started on the power of the Internet for getting me obscure books I want. |

Coffee. None of that fancy espresso stuff, just plain coffee. If I have the pocket change, I'll buy around three cups per day. I can't live without coffee. No other source of caffeine does it for me. |

It is either books (including manga, fiction and non-fiction) or CDs. Spend more money than I should on both, but it is worth it |

for me it is, yeah, starbucks. i generally hit my local one 5 mornings a week, 6 if i work saturdays (which i have the last several). venti upside down carmel macchiato, total cost of about 20 bucks a week or a bt less since i've got several friends that work there and give me a buck or so off my reasoning is that it is too much to spend on coffee, but by the time i've been at work for 15 minutes i've paid for the cup and its worth it to put me in a good mood, tho i realize its prob mostly psychosomatic |

Anything Gummi. When I'm going through a store if there is any kind of gummi snack; worms, bears, anything, I buy them and eat them. Anyone else have a gummi addiction? |

That sounds like the kind of thing snobby rich Englishmen do in clubs. You wouldn't happen to be one of those would you? |

I can see how that would happen... I'm a fair hand at chess myself, though I'm not up on the names of the moves or anything... I can win, or at least stalemate if I try hard enough... |

Books and movies for me mainly with a CD buying spree thrown in now and then. Plus Tim Horton's coffee and a stupid amount of weekly cash on sushi... though better than the crappy cigs I used to spend a small fortune on I suppose. |

Gourmet Cooking .. the "I cook - you eat" type ... oh - and the other way around too of course, but I enjoy the doing and inventing as much as the eating and drinking ... |

My indulgences are console games. I'll buy the latest games, get about 30% through them, then either trade them in or add them to my growing stack of "games I'll get to soon, I promise!" I'm particularly a sucker for console RPGs. |

Forum posting, video games (Ninja Gaiden's the devil without potions), website design (7 years strong), drawing (I'm not very good, but I sketch nonetheless), piano (quit after 4 years of lessons, everything after what I know I don't want to know), guitar (I like to play quite a bit, I'm decent. I can play Crazy Train, the whole thing, not like the people who just play the start and thing they know the song. I also can play through atleast 8 CDs I have with only pushing forward on Techno songs, and songs that I don't like [i.e. Offspring's Americana CD - Feelings]), counter-strike, movies (I watch a lot), bike riding (the only sport I like, that I can still do with my Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome), weight lifting (this is going to be a new one--we just got a gym!). |
