Sounds good Ini. 160GB out of 233GB is not bad at all.

If i ever have the need to use recovery tools (i pray that i never will though) I'll be sure to check these out.

In relation to the undelete program:
"The Demo version is fully functional except that it cannot undelete or recover files larger than 64KB"

There are free tools about which do the same. I was just looking for this kind of thing. A friends laptop was stolen from her college residents and it was found a few weeks later under a stairwell with the screen smashed. I hook it up to a monitor and found the password had been changed (Win2kpro) I had to reset that with a floppy disk version of linux and wipe the SAM file. When I got in I found the thief had deleted any trace of using the computer bar a new profile. I haven't done it yet but I need software to recover any files copied about. The program I used (on another computer) was called something like recoverer anywho it was able to recover enough files to account for all the freespace on the computer. anywho , thats my story :P

No, it was when he was playing at Thundercats - he knocked the drive off his desk with Lion-O's sword...

Thunder! THUNDER! THUNDERCATS! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I dislike how demo versions can just recover 64kb files. Some people here may remember how my program files folder got magically banished. In a hurry i tried a demo for a similar program, and all it could recover was just readme files I hate that i don't have the money for such software.

I thought you were just exclaiming:

the USB storage device was struck, By thunder!
