Topic: Resume Problem with Word on XP? (Page 1 of 1)

I have a resume. A headhunter requested it, and I sent it to here. She now tells me that it has a blue background. I checked it out on a Win98 machine with office 97 and there was no blue background on it.

Could anyone verify that there does indeed exist a blue background? If there is one, does anyone know how to fix this? If there is not a blue background does anyone know why this person is telling me that there is one?

White background in Word 2003.

Wasn't there a setting in word where you could tell it to turn your background blue (probably some ancient 'compability' function) - I'd suspect that that was turned on in her word.

Still - I'd send my resume as pdf - that'll at least look like you intended it.

Thanks all. I will send the PDF. The issue was that she requested the .doc version. Maybe she is a little new to these things and doesn't know how to work a computer? Weird...
