It's about 90 miles west of Idaho Falls. If you ever have a chance to go there, do it. Basically it's a huge area of ancient lava flows. The terrain is amazing. I can't imagine what the first settlers/explorers/Native Americans to come across this place thought of it.

Awesome beauty krets. The twisted black rock counterbalances with the litchen and flowers to make a great contrast.
I can imagine that there may have been many legends surrounding such a savage landscape.
