I am having trouble taking an image created for print (8 1/2'' x 11'' 600dpi) and making it into a .pdf small enough to send over email. So far I have been able to get it down to about 2.2Mb. |

How about openning the image up in photoshop resizing it, start by reducing your DPI from 600 to 72, and then adjust the size. You can then either place this image into your PDF format. Or you can save the image as a JPEG, GIF or PNG (these tend to have the best compression) and send it in this format. |

I think that people understand that web graphics are going to be somewhat compressed. I am going to try reducing the DPI to 72 and see what happens. How do I take an image that is already 600dpi and make it 72dpi? |

I got it reduced, and this are looking... okay at 900k, but when I dip to about 750 things just become blurry as all hell. |
