This isn't really a website. But a new client of mine wanted something up quick.
I could name a million things wrong with what I just did. All I'm asking, Is it appealing to the eyes?
For what it is I'm feeling good about the design. How do you feel?

EDIT: This is just a front page. While i get into details with the rest of the site.
This is definately not the final website.

Well for a temp fix it is, well, not too good.

Keep it simple, a single graphic and the necessary information. Put up the location the contact info, and anything else that is pertinent. Give them a link to book mark the page, tell them that more content is coming soon, give them a date for the update to arrive and tell the user to check back soon. Your graphical work isn't bad at all, it just doesn't have any of the required text. And having text as graphics is just bad form, you can't copy and paste graphical text.

It is appealing to the eyes, but everything that WarMage just said applies.

I went to my gf grandparents house today and showed them the site.
I was shocked to see THIS
The gif looks like crap. What would cause this and should I be worried that this is how others are seeing it too?

it should look like THIS

http://www.actioncargo.com

Brand new gateway computer with integrated Intel graphics. I even took the time to update her video driver to see if that would correct it.

Maybe the card is only displaying a small subset of colors. Try the preferences to make sure that it is set to millions of colors.

yeah I checked that.
Could it be that they have AOL dial-up and to make things faster AOL is trying to compress images even more?
I know tha sounds odd but it's the only viable thing i can think of.
