This would be good because most people already have flash. And then there are programs built specifically for Flash that do this. Check out [url=http://www.erain.com/]Electric Rain[/url]. I've also seen a prog called [url=http://www.ipix-photos.co.uk/demos/albert-dock/java/2.htm]IPIX[/url] which uses JAVA but that is better for perspective views with real images. But I guess this is off topic because you are asking for Quicktime itself. But these are possible alternatives.
