Topic: Why isn't text properly 'wrapped' in IE? (Page 1 of 1)

Please take a look at the site I'm trying to build here:

click the 'thai' pages. see how the text is suddenly made a little too wide and I get a vertical (side-to-side) scrollbar? IT SUCKS!

It's so strange, because I've found it's because of the horizontal scrollbar, that I get the vertical one. So that if delete most of the links to the different 'days' so that the page doesn't need any horizontal scrollbar anymore, then the vertical dissapears as well! =( What the heck is wrong?

When I load it up in Opera it displays perfectly though!

Off hand, I can't say.

I will say though, that when the frame source is viewed alone, the issue does not exist. I would guess then that there is a matter of padding/margins that needs to be rectified with the frame.

I would personally recommend losing the frames altogether. they really tend to be nasty little things that cause nothing but trouble in the long run.
It's not natural....breaking up a window into little windows...

I would also recommend coding that list of days as just that - a list.

Something is making the DOCTYPE cause errors. Take out that tag and the scroll is gone. I remember having to remove that same DOCTYPE from some of my pages, even though the pages were valid.

Not the greatest solution, but it's a thought if you can't figure it out. I sure didn't.

EDIT: come to think of it, those errors I had were also pages inside of frames
