Hahahahahaha!

Good one. Simple. Original.

Now the criticism and/or suggestions.

Correct the spelling. Greatful is spelled grateful. Shrink it down a little, most sigs are less than 100 pxs high. Most are around 75 px.

I like the style too good work.
Is that a square hole he is popping out of? I'd like to see a bit more detail there perhaps, but that is only a minor (miner, heh) thing, and just my initial thought. It still looks good, I agree with the comments ^above^ as well.

Holy crap!... I think I've been spelling grateful wrong my entire life!

Alright, I made a few changes. I'm having a hard time getting the height down without loosing the style of my little guy. I got it down a little more and changed the hole (It seemed out of whack to me too). Thanks for all the compliments.

It's good. However, I don't like the bevel.

I feel the bevel is a matter of taste. It can work either way.

However, what I am not sold on is the grating over the hole. The lines are too jaggie and it makes the figure look like he got teleported half-way through a manhole cover in a horrible star trek accident. Maybe his shirt should be red.

The edging of the hole and the cracks are a nice touch.

To show you how anal I am... I like the sig but it really bugs me that the sign handle is off center. It looks like it's off balance and the handle just put there because of convience to the artwork and not placed there for any form or function reason.

Stupid, right? But it just bugs me....

Speaking of balance... How about putting his thoughts on one side and the sign on the other?

Besides that I think it rocks.

Peace,

Oh man.... now the sign handle is bugging me. Moth, do you think the grates would look better if I made it look like some were kind of bent and broken?... I'll have to tweak things again.

You can give it a try. I'll have to see it before I can tell you if it worked.

The handle does not bother me. It is sort of a given that the handle will be off center because of the proportions of the sign and the guy. I'd leave the sign and the thought bubble on the same side. Otherwise, the sig will look all sprawled out.

Perhaps you could have him lifting the manhole cover aside, and the 'REDROY' could be embossed on that?

That is a cool sig - stylish and simple - and I like the bevel, so .

1. Keep bubble and sign on same side or it would look wrong. They look OK slotted together like that.
2. The sign should be either a sign or a flag; don't put the handle off centre.
3. Get rid of the border on the sign, it looks unnatural (sp?).

5 minutes with Microsoft Paint (yes, Microsoft Paint) and ImageShack produces something like this:

Unfortunately I can't get rid of the background. Obviously you can slightly remaster it yourself if you want.
