im just staring to learn xml, does anyone know of any good tut sites???

xml is a bit controversial imo still... i have used it for one site - its ok. Just a way of storing data in another format instead of a database etc because it is - well debatably - more portable.

But having said, there really is nothing to it its quite simple. Make your own php parser and your away.

thanks for the link, i was there earlier today (after i posted), i was told that xml is good for business 2 business communications because it allows different programming languages to communicate on an open platform...

Yeh... well it kinda does - its really just an extra layer - say between your database and front end, but stored in such a primitive format that anything can use it.

Thats my opinion of it anyhow - i could be very wrong there might be more too it.. but i dont think there really is.
