This is the SHTML/SSI version. I've been trying to rip to regular HTML, but something would invariably go wrong. I've finally reached the point of fuckit.
tech-slop.zip somewhere around 4 megs
If you feel the need to mirror, there it is.
Sometime tomorrow, I'll create a new cell for mirrors.
BTW, I've had to take down the PDF version. I'll see about getting it back up in a week or so.
So much junk, so little time.

What's the problem wj?
Did you try opening the pages in a browser and choosing "Save Page" under the file menu? That will effectively convert the SSI insert commands into normal inline code. It even sorts the images into a folder for you. All you have to do then is package up the html files with the image folder, into a new folder.
Done deal.

Tried that, but ran into a directory problem. Tried ripping from my own local server. Tried a few other things, and all failed miserably for various reasons. On-n-off, I've been working on my own conversion tool, but recursion and I don't get along very well. I'll give it anohter go this weekend.
Finally started my own cell and put Technical Slop mirrors in as a sub-topic.
Technical Slop Mirrors
Hopefully the SSI won't be a problem for those take it. All I use in #include for nav and content.
On a better note, Max Slop is finally back up after the latest round of server junk. After I add a few more tricks, I'll post down in 3d.

Crap! Missing images!
I'll start looking and take inventory.
Matter of fact, I noticed something else.
Anybody else should wait.
Man, this sucks.
Back in a day or two with another upload.
Thanks, Moon.

I've done the same with tech slop, did a quick run through for bad links and have discovered the following:
MISSING FILES:
/tech-slop/whispies/ts_extract1.acv
/tech-slop/amp/amp.zip
/tech-slop/brushmaking/brushthang.zip
MISSING IMAGES:
/tech-slop/b1solid/bigexample.jpg
/tech-slop/b3circlegrads/02circles.gif
/tech-slop/b3circlegrads/02circlesa.gif
/tech-slop/bulge/concept1.gif
/tech-slop/whispies/curves02.gif
/tech-slop/b4gradients/bcdisplace3.jpg
MISSING PAGES:
/tech-slop/shapeshifter/index.shtml
/tech-slop/rotatevar/index.shtml
/tech-slop/puipui/pptob.shtml
DEAD LINKS:
http://faq.ozoneasylum.com/76/ (Mahjqa fire?)
BAD LINKS:
http://disk919.com/tech-slop/whispies/index.shtml
http://www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorials/photoshop/curves1.html
http://shiva.snu.ac.kr/KPT/Tips/KPT10/KPT10.html
If anyone comes up with any of those missing files etc, post here, maybe we can complete this thing for our weary friend.
wj: you'll want to check that cell and edit my entry/description as you see fit.
I'll run spiderzilla over this and see if it can assemble the html for you...
edit: you beat me to the post, I've added the html'd version here and a zipped version here for whomever it may concern. I know the html version assembled is missing some graphics at least (but I think they are referencing the files in the shtml version at /tech-slop/). I'll poke through later and try to remedy what I can when I get a chance if noone beats me to it.

Got (most of) the images and ts_extract1.acv tossed in.
However, I'm showing that amp.zip and brushthing.zip are in the archive. Odd.
This is where it gets kind of bad. Now, ShapeShifter and Rotate Variations *are not* supposed to be in there. I took them out because of some other rearranging stuff that I did. Because they are in there, that means that I uploaded a slightly older version of Tech-Slop (wasn't supposed to be older, but I guess it is - no idea how many versions/copies I have archived). This is fine and easily fixable, but my CD-ROM crapped out on me and I don't have access to my archives. Again, not too bad, but one image is not currently on my harddrive: /tech-slop/b4gradients/bcdisplace3.jpg. Guess I'm going to have to use another machine and e-mail to myself or something.
Thanks for the lists, JKM.
Making a list and checking it twice... yet again.
Off to work in a few.
I'll put in some time after I beat the kids to sleep.
edit:
Thanks for hunting those down for me, kuckus.
I hate to say it, but navigating the new GN gives the willies.

Ran through everything as best as I could, but it was rather quick and lacking a little focus. As near as I can tell, I got all images and extra files. Even did a romp for internal and external links. ~crosses fingers~
If anything does come up missing, I'll do a seperate upload.
Same as before, but replaced:
tech-slop.zip ~4megs
Crap, JKM. I totally missed your HTMLed version. I must be getting old. Not prepared to deal just yet, so beer with me.
As far as blurbs go, I'm all cool with it. Offering a mirror or not, feel free to drop your thoughts in the mirror cell. I'll be dropping in some thoughts of my own after mulling things over a bit more.
Kind of funny that you tossed in 'Mr. Mom' because that is one of the jokes around here.
Girlie #2: What's this word say?
Woman: Go ask your mother.
Girlie #2: Daddy...?
:sigh: It's a twisted world I live in.

I'm uploading these as I go off to be here. I'll assume all's well and there it'll be.
I yanked down the HTMLized bunch so that link'll be dead. Asylum won't let me edit the posts so forgive me if you click the dead links and transfer the blame tooo... Suho, yeah, Suho, that's it.

I took the liberty of adding "HEat Waves" and "Light Rig" to the Table of Contents, they were missing. I also upped the tob.shtml as a text doc that you can right click and download here to get the unparsed text of the file. Rename the extension to shtml and you should be good to go.
Whenever you think you're settled and want an all html version holler, it's no trouble.
I missed you missing my html version =) or I wouldn't have taken that one down, just read that as I was posting this =\ sorry

Damn, JKM. Maybe I should just send you my working directory. Something like 28 megs of raw WJ material. The rabbit hole is awlfully deep. And that's not mentioning my rambles and rants that I have archived on the side. Than again, all of these little mistakes are making me wonder if I dug too deep for even myself. How in the world did I ever manage?
Thanks for the TOB catch.
Kind of quiet, so I'm assuming that it's all good.
HTML away at your discretion.
Mucho appreciated, JKM.

ZIPped HTML with no other files just html and directories.
I lied! It is a bit of a hassle at the moment sorry to say, fear the HTMLizing needs to be double checked, some of the links are freaky apparently. I'll pick it up again when I need a diversion!
