Alright here is the question.

Can you load an image that extends past the browser window without causing the scroll bars to appear?

I have an image here for visualization (as long as I've figured out this UBB). The red box would be someone's browser window with the image extending down past it. I would like this to work so that as people resized for higher resolutions, it would show more of the logo, but still cut off like intended on smaller resolutions.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

why can't you just set it as a background image?

you could place it inside a DIV tag, set height and width to 100% and have overflow: hidden? hmm ... not sure
