Hey, all.

Call it spam if you will, but I'd like to take the opportunity to announce the premiere of a new Web site dedicated to the Munster Mansion in Waxahachie, Texas. I worked with the owners to create a new site about the mansion and their annual charity benefit.

If you haven't heard of it before, you can get some of the details in my Roadside Headlines. It's a recreation of the house from the 1960s show The Munsters. Each Halloween, the owners hold a charity party, and this year it benefits CASA of Ellis County, which helps abused and neglected children being shuffled through the court system.

I'm not asking for a site review. Just check it out and attend the party if you can. If you can't, you can contact the owners if you'd still like to donate.

Edit: Guess I should add a link to the site while I'm at it.

Very cool indeed. I'm even gonna be around there for Halloween (billiards tournament at UNT that day), so if we're done there early enough, I'll definately make an effort to stop by.

Admission is free. Once inside, you can purchase tickets good for food, games and tours.

Any idea of a ballpark for how much everything goes for? I've been to similar charity events that have ranged from $5 for dinner, etc, up to $50 and $100 for dinner, etc. Just do I have an idea of what I'm getting myself into

[Edit: Did you get you sig from Calvin and Hobbes? Seems really familiar...

I don't have any info on prices, but it's a family event, so everything should be affordable.

For more info, you can use the contact form and ask the McKees directly.

(Yep, "Verbing weirds language" came from C&H ...)
