great animation, as always, don't care for the colors, and *it makes me seasick*.

I love it Mahjqa, only eight frames as well, very original, at least I have not seen anything like it here before. I guessing, your image desaturated or "two toned" and used to displace the spiral slightly, which is rotated over the eight frames, with the "obey" text set to difference?

And nope, there isn't more to it.

It's two pictures, one with a pattern, and one with a picture, at 50% opacity. After that, I used image>adjust>treshold to separate the image into pure black and white pixels, and sized it down to get rid of the blockyness of the 'treshold' command.


Other patterns are also fun. I don't know if there are any Soulwax fans around here, but I got the idea from the artwork of their latest album "any minute now" (which I don't own, nor have listened to.)

I was kind of hoping some other folks would post their results....

For fun: a PSD with the mona lisa. turn down the opacity, and see how long you can keep the picture recogniseable.
