I am in a class that teaches us brain dead students visual basic.

And i was wondering how would we go about using it in a webpage, (i can export it to an .exe file) and play it.

I tried just using a standard A href but that just brought up the prompt to open or save, i am looking to actually be able to run it. I figured that java script would be able to provide this, but my knowledge of it is minimal ( and my minimall i mean none.)

thank you for any help in advance.

You can't run exes on a user's machine without her opening them.

You can however convert your Visual Basic program to VBScript

well, hardly. VB can do a lot more than VBScript.

Well, whether or not you will be able to convert it depends on what the program does and what functions of the system it utilizes. Please share.

If you go down the route of converting VB to VBScript, I think continuing the thread in a different forum (more suited to VB / VBScript) would be the best bet.

As already mentioned, you cannot run any EXE "in" or "on" a web page. You can, however, provide a link which the use can click on to either save or run the EXE.

Hope this helps,
Dan
