hi i need some feedback on a layout im currently developing for my final project in a class.

i know i have the height set at a crapy 580px, but didnt want to bother messing with 100% hight in divs when i only have 2 more days and need to get working on content.

First of all it doesn't scale and it looks like an table-type layout. Which makes it look a bit old fashioned.
The code does look ok to me you created a table look whithout any tables and this is done very well.
I do hope the white background in the central content area gets another color it looks very dull specialy with the old fashioned table look.
The design is easy on the eyes and clear to understand.

Great start, the code looks good too! and that is not something I often find myself saying in a review.

However, your images look a bit washed out and your edges are undefined. Maybe clean that up a bit.

The code looks very clean to me, and I like the simple layout, especially having it be done with CSS instead of tables.

Great job.

As WarMage said, the graphics are of very low quality, I don't know if this is because you only created a demo, if it is now, you may want to seriously reconsider redoing them.
