Topic: POW 61 - Holiday Madness

I don't think we've had a holiday season POW, and 'tis the season, so show us holiday pix, good, bad or indifferent. I'm using "holiday pix" in the broadest possible sense, in case there's any confusion.

Rules:
1. Photo needs to go along with the subject in some way.
2. Use thumbnails for photos with any dimension larger than 450 px or over 40 kb.
3. Post as many as you want.
4. At the end of the week the person who chose the topic will pick someone to choose the next topic. This isn't a "winner", just someone who gets to suggest the next topic.
5. No sigs

Over the past few days some of the houses in our street have been changing drastically. I sometimes feel like I'm living in Santa's Grotto. It's like they are having a private competition to see who can get the most lights up! It's been really windy today too, I've been expecting to see people chasing all maner of inflatable "xmas" decorations broken free from their moorings.

My dad is trying to become the next Clark Griswald:
