Hi Guys,

Thought i would share this image with you.

It is a photo manipulation that i have been working on today. I am aware that there are a few light source abnormalities, but could anything be done to improve it ?

First of all, there should be some light on the top left of the lighthouse, as even if it gives a directed light, there should be some kind of halo all around it.
The door lights might be a bit too strong, comparing to the overall lightning of the scene; they seem to light up a pitch black scene, and this gives a really artificial atmosphere.
The sea in the background does not look really natural: how comes it's almost the shiniest thing in the picture? You should do some more reflection work on it.
In general, I think you should calm down a bit with the intensity of the lights.

I think the sky is really well done.
Good attempt, with a bit more work you might get a really good result.

Agreed, the front door ligts are too strong, and the sidewalk lights are too sharp edged.
The perspective on the ray of light seems off. Should come towards us more. And the right side of the house (and the tower) should be in shadow.
Also the entire building should be casting a shadow in the front yard.
I know you mentioned "a few light source abnormalities" , but I wanted to mention these, in case we`re seeing different ones.
Other than that, A little clean up on the edges of the building and roof ( did you mask it or cut it out? ) and it`s a keeper.
Good start. Keep us updated on this.
