Topic awaiting preservation: Speed Painting - 'beasts'

Yep, Beasts. Real, imagined, or even metaphorical.

Rules?

Not really, but the concept is "speed"

- keep it in the neighborhood of 15-45 minutes (or so...).
- any traditional or digital media.
- make it relate to the topic in whatever way you see fit.
- it's not a contest - anyone can play, and nobody wins.
- in around a week or so, I'll pick someone from the entrants to start a new topic.

So go paint somethin'

just a quicky..typical crap, around 45 mins...give or take a few...it takes time to render crap like that.

That's nicely done, Ruski. I like the shading a lot. I don't quite understand the stomach area with the stretchy bits going into his left arm. Great work though!

Maybe I'll do pencil this time since I finally have a scanner. I did actually try to do an insect last week but it was a lame, half hearted attempt. An ugly grasshopper, all out of perspective and wonky...

I do have more spare time this week so I'll give beasts a go.
