Are nested floats valid or am I doing something wrong? I have a div tag with float-left defined, content flows around this nicely. When I add stuff inside of this div tag and use float and clear methods to control the layout, I think it is messing up the "outer" float-left. I'm not sure though... If the above conclusion it true, I would have to think of this as a CON for CSS layout and design. Would there be another / better approach? THE INTENT: The ability to design pieces of a website modularly. For example, a "Whats New" section. I should be able to design to my hearts content the HTML code that supports this and then place it anywhere within my HTML page. Karl
