Some things that would make it easier on the eyes and easier to read. - The content, can you place some smaller images or perhaps small styled quotes (a div with top and bottom border and a differently tinted bg) from important parts of the paragraps in relation to the paragraps. Float them right and/or left of the content so the text fows around them.
