The center (id="centerb") div wasn't floating, objects in the center div were floating. I found this out when I made the center div floating, thus making floating on floating. So well, hope this helps anyone in a similar problem. But then once I think again, the div containing everything (id="mainframe") isn't floating... hmm, ohwell, it works so thats all I care about at this point.
