Topic awaiting preservation: Need a new host (Page 1 of 1)

I need a new host (one without ads that is) I can't afford to by a full fledge domain so I rely on free alternatives. My last one was great except that it started posting these humongous ads anyone have any good suggestions... other than the FAQ I've been there not very impressed.

I need around 50-100 MB storage.
Subdomain preffered
PHP and MySQL support
all the other doodads I don't care about.

So anybody?

www.unrealisation.co.uk provide a very cheap hosting option and you can get use a subdomain instead of purchasing a URL.

I was taking a look at godaddy.com, where my domains are located, and they have a cheap and rather interesting starter plan with all the needs you have. Only 4 dollars a month.

yup I'm offering what you want there, except the free part, but hey, pretty close folks like yourself is exactly why I decided to do that actually, read through the site, pretty quick read, and if it looks right, go for it.

... i think it's best for me to rephrase myself... when i said can't afford it I mean no credit card!! here a couple of isp's are giving good deals but I can't afford them either like the cheapest is around Rs.3500 a month! That's no where in my league.

Don't expect any of those features for free, save for the subdomain, perhaps.

I used to be hosted (for free) in a server where I had php priviledges, however, it was really limited on what I could do, what with not having mysql support. :P

I used to use f2o.org before I got my reseller account. Free account is 75mb, 3gb bandwidth. 1 mysql database, php.
