HTML is the ultimate top-level of the structure, everything is a child of it. It's useful for BMH'ing for IE, becuase it allows us to enter clealy IE-specific CSS code

Dithered.com : CSS-only Filters Summary shows that the syntax :

code:
html>body selector

works everywhere but in IE 4+ and NN4, on the other the syntax :

code:
* html selector

works only in IE4+

For more CSS filters, check Dithered.com : CSS Filters and Hacks

oooo nice

I got another question. It's kind of weird and quite stupid but I've been researching this for some time now. I'm trying to make a nav with popup links BUT I want to do it with out javascript and the popups should appear onclick... is that possible in css because if it isn't I've wasted like 2 weeks for nothing :S

W3C : HTML 4.01 Specification / Frame target names

I fear you've wasted 2 weeks, for something that is basic HTML.
