http://www.jaronrovensky.com/

This is this artist's first web site. Jaron and I used to play together in local bands but he's now trying to launch his career beyond the "local area". I tried to make it look "earthy, rustic" with all the browns. Tried to make clean looking as well, using css for layout.
Feedback anyone?

Overall I like it but from a 'user' pov... a few issues.

I'd like some bottom of page navigation.

On the 'biography' page the 'Top of page' goes to 'Protected Area' Login etc. Not the top.

On the 'music' page. Presumably, two of the songs are wrongly named/labelled. I downloaded 'Stagger Lee' which in fact is 'You can't always get what you want.' So you might want to check the rest.

On the 'bio' page. Replace all instances of 'weather' with "whether" unless he's actually referring to Alberta's climate which Tom Waits would concede can be, 'Colder than a well-diggers ass.' =)

'Your' link 'vitaleffect.' Should that not open in a separate window?

Just my preference but I think you should leave the clients site.

And to be a bit picky on your site. "We build incredibly easy to use...."

Wrong use of 'incredible/y.' What's the opposite of something being 'credible?' Well it's 'incredible' isn't it. Most people use 'incredible' when what they really mean is 'Astonishing.' So in your case it would be "We build 'astonishingly easy to use...." but that perhaps doesn't read as well as it could so... consider 'very' in bold italics. But please get rid of 'incredibly.' Picky picky picky yes...but it just irks me. =)

Let me know when the tunes are renamed. And yes... I quite like him.

Thanks for that! I think I fixed the song problem; it was only those two files. I appreciate you taken the time to review it, I corrected the issues you mention. Thanks again!

By the way, I play guitar on "Live in Camrose".

"Thanks for that!"

Hey the least I can do for a fellow Albertan. Thankfully my folks had the good sense to move to the West Coast before perma-frost had a chance to take hold of my (then) young and tender body. <lol>

Wow that was 'astonishingly' fast and I am sure a fine example of your 'very easy to use' content managemet system. =)

Everything seems to work and to me it looks good but as I said... I'm just a 'user' and I'm sure them 'coding-folk' will be able to provide something more concrete.

I really like 'Live in Camrose' particularly StaggerLee and that overall style of 'boogey woogey.' It's good to see the 'younger' folk finding...liking and playing. Safe for another generation!

I have a friend in Vancouver who I often describe as a cross between Dr. John and Tom Waits but more often he gets taken as Long John Baldry. His name btw =) is Jack Velker.

And I have a newphew in Sask. A Piano player by name of 'Downtown' Jesse Brown =) who plays with Wide Mouth Mason. When they need a piano player for a gig... they fly him to venue.

And for you the guitar player ... this is a friend of mine who, like you, knows his way around a neck. http://www.bozroz.com/

I like the clean design as well as the fast load times you have running. NoJive already pointed out much of the errors and I can only second what he has said. Personally, I would place special emphasis on footer text links.
