In you example it uses the default font-family/size, which is quite problematic as the users can change it and it'll not result in the same scale ratio. You should/must use a generic font-family ( to make sure the font is available on various platforms ) for such conversions, and use the method I suggested above, that is to nest the images sets in [i]em[/i] within an element with a generic font-family and a fixed size.
