It's the grail. The mythological cup that was supposedly used to catch some of Christ's spilled blood when he was nailed to the cross.
Also, "the grail" was the codename for the forum when it was still in it's developmental stages.

and after all, it is Easter in those christian parts of the world.
(And mahjqa: I still would like to turn your happy agnostika image into an asylum logo for around 'between the years'...)

Perhaps each holiday from this point forth will include the holiday icon (an Easter Bunny for this) in a strait jacket.... or even Jesus in a strait jacket...

That would require at least one new logo per day.

No, just one for each major seasonal holiday. Things such as Halloween, Christmas, Easter, or whatnot.

Jesus in a straight jacket might be considered offensive, though a Grail wouldn't be.
Though I can't imagine anyone considering the easter bunny in a straight jacket offensive.

You're speaking of major Christian holidays. What about the other 85% of the world that doesn't celebrate those holidays, but has different set of major holidays they celebrate? If you're going to put up logos for each of the major holidays, you will find that there is at least one major holiday going on every day.

I'm more than happy to integrate any decent looking icon you guys provide.
If there is more than one, I'll either decide on the clearly better one, or think of some alternation scheme.
We currently have serveral, most of them keyed to specific dates.
(Easter is the only 'variable' exception right now. But none of them are huhu if I can get my hands on a list of dates for the next century or so ;-)).
So long,

I have a better (but potentially more blasphemous) notion:
