(Real basic IS for managment class). Anyway I ftp'd the mdb file to my site but when others in my group download the file they can't open it due to security restrictions. What sort of message are they receiving about security restrictions? Did you setup anything special under the Tools>Security area? If it's "Unrecognized database format" then it's definately a version issue. Hmmm... are they actually downloading it, or are they maybe choosing the Open option? If they are choosing the Open option, they might be running into each other... I dunno. I'd see if you can get more specific messaging - that would really help in determining what might be the problem.

Due to the recent security updates to either IE or SP2 (not sure which is the culprit) Windows is basically saying the .mdb came from an untrusted site and won't open the database. If the user right clicks on the database, selects Properties and clicks the Unblock button, they should be able to open the database.
