Topic: Can't figure out width problem? (Page 1 of 1)

and see if you can figure out why the topic body is too wide?

This is the only section that is like this. Everything else is fine. I know it has something to do with the middle section but I can't for life of me figure out what it is. Been working on this for most of the day and it's killing me.

It's a phpBB so the code is a freakin mess! Tried to clean it up but it's still a mess so I apologize.

You have a whole bunch of tables set with width="780", but some have borders and surrounding td's, etc.

Do a global replace of width="780" with width="100%" and then make sure the first table in the body is set to width="780" (or better: a percentage).

man! Thank you so much! I actually forgot that I changed those to 780. Making a style for phpBB can be very taxing on the nerves.

Agreed - I decided it's such a horrible exercise I should just make my own forum system instead.

yes....the template system is a cool thing but man! it's difficult to go through everyone of those files to see if your style is working or not. i actually got it right except for the problem i listed above right off the bat though. just took a very long time. more time than i really wanted to spend on it.
