I've searched the faq and archives for this, but couldn't find anything.. maybe it is there, or maybe its just so stupidly simple that its not there...

At work, I need to make some "wallpapers" for mobile phones for download from our site. My cell phone is an older model with no color, so I have no idea how this new fandangled technology works... What do I need to provide, just a jpg at a specific size?? any help would be great!

thanks,
JB

My brother had a Siemens My-X5 and cables to connect it a computer and transfert whatever you want ( images, sounds, firmware, ... ). I know for sure that it accepted GIF and animated GIF as I made one for fun. It certainly also accepted JPG images.

Depending on what phone you have there are loads of little image editors where you can import any image you like (usually *.jpg).. resize/edit it then send it to your phone via a data cable or irda (infrared) or bluetooth. It's really simple.
