Topic awaiting preservation: InI Really Gone? (Page 1 of 1)

Could it be true? InI's big head and manic depressive states were the main reason I left the Asylum. When your ego is that big you shouldn't be hanging around licking up every bit of random praise you can fish for in a friendly forum such as this.

Okay, I feel kind of like a major gossip here, but could anyone fill me in on what happened since InI took it upon himself to destroy all the evidence?

Maybe I'll hang around for a while now...

He is gone.

He left, and took all his posts with him.

I think if you dig around in the Basement, you might find some scraps of information about what happened, and why - although all of Ini's posts have been replaced with a "post removed due to Ini's request", or somesuch.

InI just went off and crazy on someone posting for a review. He attacked the individual personally along with his work, and many of the other inmates critized InI for being out of line. InI then went on a tirade of making a big deal about TP having Finglonger (more privileges than the rest). Many of his threads were closed and he got more and more irrate. He finally threatened legal action if his posts were not removed, and we laughed at him. He contacted the Doc and the Doc told him that if he wanted his content removed he could have it removed. TP was told this, and TP removed all of his post content from public viewing.

Didn't have any noticable impact, noone really thought it would.

Who's InI? Could someone explain exactly what happened please?
I did a search on "basement" (because of what WebShaman said) but didn't find anything.

Was he banned after he left or was he banned? Everybody seems to have had a tooth against him... I only thread talked to him once. About panoramic projection, I think it was... And OpenGL vs DirectX.

This is simply not true. It is mostly the other way around.

Though his temper trantrums could be quite tiresome, I never really had a problem with Ini.

As for banning...I don't think in that sense that he was banned outright; I think he left, and wanted everything DELETED.

Funny that this thread got started now, after so much time has gone by...

I can't say I know what having a tooth against someone is, but I don't think many disliked him, I certaintly didn't anyway. I thought his rants were great entertainment too.
If he's not banned if he posted i'd imagine his posts would still be replaced by that message I can't say I know.

You're right. I know him well enough to know this is weird, honestly. I thought he would have removed some or all of the inmates' names from his bookmarks, and that's what sounds strange to me.

When was the last time anyone talked to him ?

for me it was when he left. but I could find out rather easily if you want to know if he's alright.
