UBB Help
I'll be honest with you, it's difficult to visualise your problem, if you could post up an example that would help greatly, try using geocities for some free space. From what you've said so far I would try not to use absolute positioning, if anything on your page has a relative size absolute positioning can cause you problems. However if you want the image to actually appear 'over' other elements then absolute positioning 'may' be the only choice you have. Often with images on websites you;'ll find that gaps will appear between themselves and their previous or next elements, this can sometimes be removed by removing any carriage returns and spaces in your (X)HTML. Hope this helps, let us know how you get along. Cheers,
