Topic: music download

i want people to b able to download music from my site i have the music but am haveing dificuty with the code can anyone help i have trie one but it just plays on theviewers player and doesnt download please help

You'll need to be a lot more specific than that though - what kind of music are we talking about here,
and are you using straight html (where this is going be rather hard) or some server side scripting language?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you just provide a link to the file and then have users right-click (or the equivalent) to save as? That would seem to be the easiest way to go here....

And, just for the record - if it has opened on the user's computer, it has in fact downloaded. They can save it wher they want it from there...
