There is an option to turn transparency on/off. It's in the option bar across the top or something. Just says Transparency with a box. If that's not on, no transparency regardless of what the pre-set says. |

The png is only for decoration, so for browsers that can support it, they'll be treated to a nice effect. IE doesn't support the PNG, so it's being hidden with some CSS it doesn't understand either. |
