I finally got my own computer. I had been living with my mother up until a couple of weeks ago. I am now in Austin, TX going to school. |

My main concern with running Linux would simply be compatibilty with my games and other programs. I would switch if was sure i wouldn't have problems |

Yeah, I simply dual-boot (keep Windows AND Linux) on my machine for games (though I only really play Warcraft III), and for just about everything else, there's a free equivalent (I use OpenOffice for everything MS Office does, though AbiWord instead of MS Word is also a good choice; Firefox, Thunderbird, Gaim, Totem (video playing), Gimp (though not as good as photoshop) and Audacity (sound editing) tend to do everything I require). |
