It is rather hard to make sense of what is being said, and I have not ben able to find anything else that explains the problem at hand. Most of what I got from that article is "a lot of people don't write valid mark-up anyway, so don't use XHTML". Which leaves me rather unconvinced ;) But I would like to understand the issue...
