I'm not familiar with embeding javascript into XML... again, I need the Current DATE/TIME available to the stylesheet for parsing, need to compare dates in my XML source, see if they are current etc... So, If I can embed client-side javascript into my stylesheet, and then upon parsing of the XML this value is available, that would be fine. THE MODEL: XML SOURCE ... XSL SOURCE IE user --> browses (locally) to XML source, xml transformed into XSL source. POTENTIAL MODEL: HTML Page ... XML SOURCE ... XSL SOURCE IE user --> browses (locally) to HTML source, client-side java scripting uses XML and XSLT Active X components to handle the transformation and to pass additional parameters (current date & time) to the XSLT Parser. (first model is the simplest approach...) What are your thoughts?
