These are comments made before the House of Representatives by Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.). It is a must read, or watch. Excellent. |

Interesting article. Nothing really new, or innovative, but a lot of ideas and thoughts brought together in one document. |

This is new. This is a senator speaking on the senate floor. This is not just some anti-war activist. This is a senator being critical of the president, congress and the war. We need more people to stand up and voice these opinions. |

Not a Senator, but a Representative. If a Senator was speaking like that it'd probably make the news, but then again, you don't have Senators speaking like that. Most aren't smart enough to give a dialogue like that, and the rest are sellouts (IMHO of course ). |

This isn't really new, I'm sorry to say - there have been other voices that have been outspoken about this point or that point in the article. |

Another reason this my not have hit the news, is that aside from a few cable news channels and the internet/periodicals, the broadcast stations are more interesting in a sensationalistic occurance or person (Sheehan, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Rove) than a reasoned person. |
