This is the same link I've posted in the main forum under 'odd fun resource'... and it is odd and fun beleive me but this is a technical question & I guess should go here.

Using FireFox, (1.5 beta 1) when I right click one of the links, (ring links that is) the usual Standard option of 'Open in New Tab' and the rest of that menu.... isn't there

I get the 'Back' etc menu. I've never run into this 'quirk' before and am just curious as to what may be going on there. Doesn't seem to me to be a 'desirable' quirk.

Thanx

The site uses javscript to make the page open when you click on a span tag, not an anchor tag. I know anchor tags that use javascript to open a window give you the open in a tab option (of course page usually doesn't work), however it appears that because its tied to the span tag instead of the anchor tag, this is the cause.

Wonder why they coded it like that....

That is strange. I am also using FF 1.5 Beta 1, and when I right click on that link, NoJive, I get the option to open in a new tab.

Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing. Not the link I've posted here but on the page that takes you to... try it on one of the links that takes you to one of the museums. 1 thru 101 or something like that. No... Open in new tab for me.

Nathus nailed it they're using js on a span so it's not recognized as a link.
