Hospital workers were asked to report to the nearest hospital and that's my wife Caroline stepping out our front door heading out. It took her 40 minutes to make it less than 1 block to a main road where she stepped off a snow bank directly into the back of one of those monster type 4by pickups which was full with other hospital workers. I didn't see her for 3 days. http://members.shaw.ca/cbck/SNOW96.jpg Back to the bottom right pic... see those clouds??... that snow was in those clouds... nobody knew it & I had no reason to take the shot other than it looked like it might be a good pic. The city came to a complete standstill for more than a week... a city where the norm sees people golfing in December. Loading...
