Not quite up to the high Swedish standards I've seen before. I can see that you have put some work into this, but it is not my personal cup of tea. The frame is too large and glassy, and detracts from the portrait. Perhaps you wanted the reflected glass look to cover the photo and the frame to unite the two to make it look natural? Have you tried maybe, tilting the whole thing on an angle to the viewer, so that it looks like a photo frame sitting on a table with the back "rester" holding it up just visible? Just a thought. Still keep up the good work and try not to stay away from photoshop for so long, it's not good for you I do like your site and galleries though.

My first idea was to use this in the BIG SIG Competition hence the moustache. But when I resized it it didn't look good. I'm going to think about your'e thoughts about the image... The colour scheme makes more sense too now that I realise you were considering using it as a basis for a sig. There are a few great ones about using a portrait in duotone I think it was.

One thing this thread has got me thinking about though is how to add hair digitally to a picture. I was going to say it is not as easy as it looks, but I don't really think it looks easy. Perhaps this could be a good subject for a PS challenge? I know I missed a good PS challenge a couple of months ago with docilebobs' "manipulation challenge".Having said that I still plan to follow his great tutorial on the matter and post up my efforts in the thread.
