It's been months since I've taken the time for online or my favorite hobby, photography. I went junkin' with a good friend of mine today and found the old tin used in my photo. The minnow skeleton was found on my pier. It's been really Spring-like here ( in the high 70's) so the flowers are blooming. So I add a mix of textures and the unexpected to try and make this a unique photo. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did playing with this today.

Lovely, snowdrops and I think a jack sprat of some sort. Not a stickeback as the spines are larger on the back. Anyway that's not the issue here Beautiful composition.

It is indeed very nice.
Love the bones in particular.

If I were to want something more from the photo, it would be some sharper edges on the foreground objects.

But lovely all the same =)

When my sister was five, she got infected tonsils and was in the hospital for about a month waiting for the infection to come down so they could remove her tonsils. She got several presents while in the hospital and one was a small potted plant.

When she go home, we planted the plant outside and the next spring if grew some flowers. Your picture above is the only other time I've ever seen those flowers.

Thanks so much JK and DL

Hyperhold; we call the flowers Wedding Bells. I've heard other names used, too. I'm not sure what the real name is for them but I do know they are EVERYWHERE in Alabama.

Now that I look closer, I realise my mistake. The flower in question is called a Snowflake or Leucojum vernum They are related to Snowdrops, see my photo below, but where Snowdrops have three small inner and three larger outer tepals the Snowflake has six equal tepals.

Amazing effort, I love it! There is some sort of atmosphere in this picture that makes me feel like staring at it on and on....

I particularily enjoy the contrast between the sharpness of the bones and the softness of the flowers.. Even though the whole picture seems to be even because of the colours, the contrast created by the different material is very interesting.
