My advisor and teacher was up for an Oscar (for an animated short he did) and he won, amazingly.. And it's definitely something cool to celebrate. AFAIK, he's not terribly rich, is not from California, was not wearing fancy clothes that he was loaned, etc etc etc,.. So to that, even if your post was about all the other big stars around, you are generalizing to the point of being offensive. To me, at least. Sometimes the underdogs get their day. And hey, no one forced you to sit down and watch the tube. Vote with your remote, and go elsewhere. Or get up and take a walk outside. Loading...
