You're confusing MTV for Hollywood, the two are far apart. Jolie was there. She's even won an Oscar for her performance in Girl Interrupted. Or did you think that Girl Interrupted was a mediocre movie too? It isn't all a big corporate conspiracy designed to bank profit into the pockets of big mega-producers. Hollywood is a breeding ground for directors, actors, musicians, and just a general gathering for artists. Sure, there will always be some that are held higher than others by the general public. But as long as you're entertained by what and who YOU decide to watch, what difference does it make if they're rich and famous? Some people love Paris Hilton, probably more than they should. I personally can't stand her, I think she's a big publicity stunt being dug into the ground. But as long as she keeps appealing to people, she'll remain the center of focus. So it's up tp people like you and me to quit talking about her and hope that she fades away eventually. Loading...
