Working this hard to mimic a table rather than using one is completely counter-productive. In addition - position:absolute; , as well as fixed pixel sizes, should be used only when absolutely necessary. A simple increase in text size via my browser and the whole thing is shot to hell. However, I vewed this page with both Firefix and IE 6, and it displayed the same in both. I must reiterate though - TABLE!
